First-Hand Contact with the Medical System:

Obtaining Experience as a Clinical Trainee
In BC, one of the ways to gain first-hand experience with the Canadian medical system is by becoming a "Clinical Trainee." To work as a Clinical Trainee, an IMG needs to find a practising medical doctor who is willing to sign a Clinical Traineeship Agreement (supplied by the College) to take him/her into the practice.
